Whenever there is some minor change to your application, you need not recreate content. You can make the incremental change by simply inserting a new step to make the Flow current again.

Use the following steps to add a step to an existing Flow,

  1. Navigate to the Whatfix Dashboard.

    Goto_dashboard

  2. Hover the cursor over the Flow you want to edit, and then click the Edit icon.

  3. Click Launch live edit.

  4. Once the Editor launches your application, navigate to the step where you would like to insert a step.

  5. On the Whatfix Editor toolbar, click the Insert button, and then click the Step before or Step after option, depending on where you want to insert the step.

Note
When the element to be selected is an item in a drop-down menu, it may be a challenge to select the element because the drop-down menu closes when you click any other action on the page. In such cases, you can use the following keyboard shortcuts to capture the element
- Insert Step Before: ctrl + shift + z
- Insert Step After: ctrl + shift + x
- To add a step at the end of the Flow: ctrl + shift + a
  1. Enter the step description and other information, and then click Add Step.

  2. Click Maximize.

  3. Click Save.

This feature is applicable only to Flows and no other content type.
