User Action Analytics- Insights

With User Action Analytics, you can easily track the usage and engagement of User Action events on your application.

To access User Action Analytics,

  1. Navigate to the Whatfix Dashboard.

  2. Click Analytics.

You can use the Filter option to narrow down the reports to a specific domain or date range. See, Analytics Filters- Domain Filter.

The Insights page starts with displaying a Watchlist, where you can keep close track of selected User Actions. The graph depicts each user action against the number of unique users who performed the tracked action.

  • By default, the first five User Actions you create are shown in the Watchlist. Other User Actions can be added to the watchlist by clicking the Watchlist icon next to each User Action name in the table below.
  • A Watchlist can only hold up to 10 User Actions at a time.

1- Unique Users

The number of unique users who performed the tracked action. For example, if two users perform the action 10 times each, the number of unique users would be 2.

2- Event Total

The total number of times the action was performed by all the users. For example, if two users perform the action 10 times each, the event total would be 20.

3- Graph Information

Hovering the cursor over each bar displays more information on Unique users and the Event total count for each User Action.

The table below displays a list of all the User Actions created.

1- Search bar

Search for specific User Actions by name.

2- Type

Type determines the completion of User Action. It can be of the types- Click, Hover, Text input, etc.

3- Watchlist icon

Clicking the Watchlist icon adds the User Action to the Watchlist above.
