Overview

Using this integration, data from your Heap account can be shared with your Whatfix account, and specific content can be focussed on a specific group of users.

Note

To use this integration, you need to have purchased Heap Connect because segment/user group exports are pulled using Redshift.

Redshift connection is only available for Heap Connect users. To know more, contact your Heap Account Manager.

Use cases

Here are some use cases that are possible using this integration:

Show a Pop-up about new product capability to all the power users of the application.
Show new updates using Beacons to passive users of the application.
Generate more revenue by showing upsell Pop-ups based on application usage.
Show survey forms in a Pop-up to get feedback from users who used the new feature at least three times.

Authentication

Heap follows Basic Auth for REST APIs, and Whatfix uses the Token-based authorization method.
