Beacons are usually set to appear for a definite number of times on a particular page.
The analytics for Beacon usage has two metrics.
- No of Users shown
- No of times clicked
No of Users shown
Whatfix counts the Beacon's appearance based on the number of times the page loads irrespective of whether the users engage with the Beacon or perform any other action on the page.
For example, if the page loads twice, the Beacon show count is 2.
No of times clicked
Now if the user clicks the beacon, then it is counted as an interaction. And the number of times clicked metric count increases.
