There may be scenarios where you have two or more Task List segments active and you want your end-users to complete the tasks in each segment sequentially, one after the other.
For more information see, Creating Task List segments.
The order in which the Task Lists are displayed is determined using the following rules,
- Whatfix prioritizes the Task List segment that has more number of visibility rules configured and displays this Task List segment first.
For example, assume we have 2 Task Lists.
- Task List 1 has 3 Visbility Rules configured
- Task List 2 has 4 Visibility Rules configured.
Whatfix displays Task List 2 for your end-users first and once the Tasks are completed, it then displays Task List 1.
For more information on Visibility Rules, see Configuring Visibility Rules.
- When the number of Visibility Rules configured are the same in both the Task List segments, then Whatfix displays the Task List segment that was activated/updated last.
For example, if you create Task List 1 and Task List 2 and activate it in the same order, Whatfix displays Task List 2 first as it was activated after Task List 1. Similarly, after activating both Task Lists, if you make any updates to a Task List, then Whatfix displays the Task List that was last updated - first.
Whatfix prioritizes Task List segments and displays them only if Task Progress is enabled.
