How is the browser extension updated?

Browser extensions can be updated using a single click from the Whatfix Dashboard. The process may vary depending on the browser.

Chrome and Edge (Chromium): This is the default browser for Whatfix. When you first access the extensions page, you see a Generate button. For subsequent updates, the Generate button is replaced with an Update button.
IE: When you first access the extensions page, you see a Generate button in the IE card. For subsequent updates, you see an Update button. In IE, a downloadable installer file is generated.
