Managing Advanced Customization Script History

The Advance Customization panel helps to maintain the history of customization scripts. It maintains a repository of the last ten script changes that were made and saved.
Versions of the Advanced Customization script are listed in the dropdown option using the date and time of the modification.
Use the following steps to select a different version of the customization script,

Navigate to the Whatfix Dashboard.

On the top right, click the Settings icon.

Click Configuration.

Select the Advanced Customization tab.

Use the dropdown menu to select the version of the script you want to use.

Click Save.
Use the following steps to make changes to the script,

Select the script version using the dropdown.

On the left code window, edit the script.

Click Save.

In case you want to discard the changes made to a selected script, click Discard.
- Each time the script is saved, a new version entry is made with the date and time of modification.
- Once you have made changes in Advanced Customization, do a Push to Production (JS Embed model) or Update Extension (Browser Extension model) for the changes to reflect on your users' application.
