Whatfix enables you to download auto-generated videos of Flows even if they are not on public hosting sites, such as Youtube and Vimeo. You can also add voiceovers to the videos generated from Flows.
Use the following steps to download Whatfix Flows as videos:
-
On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Content.
-
Click Flows.
- Select the Flows you want to download.
-
To download content in bulk, click the checkbox.
-
Use the dropdown menu next to the checkbox to choose between downloading the content of the Current page or All pages.
-
Click the Share icon.
-
Choose the Video option.
-
Click Download.
-
Click Next.
-
If you're using multiple languages, select the language you want to download the video using the dropdown.
-
Click Download Video.
- For more information on the download status, see Track your video download notifications.
- A download link along with the list of Flows downloaded is sent as an email to your registered email address. The download link is valid for 24 hours.
The time taken to receive the download link depends on several things like - the number of Flows selected, the number of steps in each Flow, and if there are already existing download requests that are queued at the Whatfix server.
For example, if you want to download 10 Flows with 10 steps each and there are no existing download requests in the queue, then the download link is received in 2.5 hours.
If it takes more than 24 hours to receive the download link then, contact support@whatfix.com.
- Only Flows can be downloaded as videos, PDF, or support links.
- Due to the Windows systems restrictions, the Flows being downloaded must not have special characters(*, ?, /, , etc.) in the title.
- The video files are generated in a .mp4 format but are compressed and sent to you in a .zip format.
