You can insert a video in a Flow step by either using its URL or the Embed code.
Use the following steps to insert a video in a Flow:
Open the desktop application where you'd like to create the Flow and then launch the Whatfix Desktop Editor.
Click Flow.
Enter the name of the Flow as you want it displayed to the users.
Click +Step.
Click the desired element on the page that the user needs to select.
- Enter the Purpose of this step.
The maximum character limits for the Purpose and Description of the step are 200 characters and 400 characters, respectively. However, you can increase the character limits by contacting support@whatfix.com.
Move your cursor to a new line and click the Plus icon.
Click the Insert Video icon.
Enter the URL or the Embedded code of the video.
Click Insert.
You can preview how the Tooltip appears on the right side of the Whatfix Editor.
If you have inserted the wrong video in the Flow, you can click the video and choose to replace or delete it.
- Click Add Step to finish creating the step, and then continue creating the Flow.
