Remove a component from a Pop-up template

There are two approaches to remove a component from a Pop-up template:
The simplest approach is to use the Visual Editor, which removes a component from a Pop-up directly using the UI without the need for to edit code.
The other option is to use the code view to remove a component from a Pop-up. The code view gives access to the template's HTML and CSS code to make advanced customization. The code view is available for any template that you select. For more information on Pop-up templates, see Choose the Pop-up Template.
Remove a component from a Pop-up using one of the following two ways:
Visual Editor enables you to remove certain components that you do not wish to use in a template directly using the UI without needing to edit the HTML or CSS code.
Use the following steps to remove a component using the Visual Editor:

On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Widgets.

Click Pop-ups.

Hover your cursor over the Pop-up segment you want to configure, and then click the Edit icon.
Click the component you want to remove.
5. On the Image Froala Toolbar, click the Remove Component icon.
NoteThe component gets removed from the Pop-up.
Using the code view, certain components that you do not wish to use in a template can be removed.
Use the following steps to remove a component using the code view:

On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Widgets.

Click Pop-ups.

Hover your cursor over the Pop-up segment you want to configure, and then click the Edit icon.
- Click the code view icon to access the template code.
- Remove the component code you want to exclude from the template.
Once you've removed the code from a component, click the play icon to preview the changes.
