Add a Video to a Smart Tip

Whatfix enables you to link videos to the text in your Smart Tip tooltip to engage users with a visual message.

Use the following steps to embed a video to an existing Smart Tip:

1. On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Content.
   

2. Click Smart-tips.
   

3. Hover your cursor over the required Smart Tip collection, and then click the Edit icon.
   

4. Go to the individual Tip that you want to edit, and then click Edit.
   

5. In the Purpose of this tip, select the text to which you want to attach the Video.
   

6. In the Rich Text Editor, click the Video icon.
   

7. Click the URL icon and then enter the URL of the video in the textbox.
   

8. Click Insert.
   

9. Click Save Tip.
   

10. Click Save.
