In some cases, like when branching a Flow, you may not need to display the end message of a Flow. The end message can be disabled both at the account level for all the Flows using the global configuration settings and at the Flow level for a specific Flow using the Customize option.
- Disabling the end message for all Flows
- Disabling the end message for a specific Flow
Disable the end message for all Flow
Use the following steps to disable the end message for all the Flows:
-
On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Style.
-
Click Flows.
-
Click the End Message tab.
-
Disable the End Message toggle to disable the end message.
-
Click Save.
If you click Discard changes, all the modifications you've made to the content will be lost, and the page will revert to its previous saved state.
Disable the end message for a specific Flow
Use the following steps to disable the end message for a specific Flow:
-
On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Content.
-
Click Flows.
-
Hover your cursor over the required Flow, and then click the Edit icon.
-
Click Customize.
-
Click the End Message tab.
-
Clear the End Message checkbox to disable the end message.
-
Click Save.
The end message of a Flow can be configured in 3 places, Advanced Customization, Flow level configuration, and Account level configuration. If for any reason, it is configured in all three places, Whatfix uses the following precedence,
Advanced Customization > Flow level configuration > Account level configuration
Example: If there is a conflict between the Flow level and the Account level configuration, then the Flow level configuration is reflected (as per the precedence).
In the same way, configuration that is done using Advanced Customization overrides the configuration at the Account and Flow levels.
