Embed a Vidyard video with Embed code using the URL

Whatfix enables you to embed Vidyard videos to a Pop-up to deliver more information to your users. Embed the video in the description section. For more information on Whatfix Pop-up templates, see Choose the Pop-up template.
Adding a video embed code in a Pop-up is a 2-step process.
Step 1: Get the video link
Step 2: Insert the video link in the Pop-up
Use the following steps to add a Vidyard video to a Pop-up:
Step 1: Get the video link
Go to the location where the video file is located in your Vidyard account.
Click the Share Video button.
Click Copy Link to copy the link to your clipboard.
Step 2: Insert the video in the pop-up
On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Widgets.
Click Pop-ups.
Hover your cursor over the Pop-up segment you want to configure, and then click the Edit icon.
In the Description section, place the cursor where you want to add the video and double-click to open the Rich Text Editor.
Click the + icon. The Add Component dialog box opens.
On the Add Component dialog box, click Video.
- Paste the video URL.
- After adding the video URL, the video may appear broken. However, it works in Preview Mode and after publishing.
- If you want the video to autoplay for your end users, click Autoplay while inserting the video.
- Click Insert and finish creating the Pop-up.
