All Flows created by the customers are stored in Whatfix cloud servers. For production, these Flows are served from Whatfix Cloud (CDN), which results in a much faster and better experience for all Whatfix end-users. If you use CDN servers, then your end-users will see content only after you do a Push to Production.
- If you use a development environment, use development-specific JavaScript. Any content that you create in the development environment can be seen without a Push to Production, as the content is hosted on Whatfix servers.
- Production content is hosted on CDN servers and you are required to embed the production JavaScript. A Push to Production is required for the content to be displayed to your users.
Use the following steps to publish content to CDN:
- On the Whatfix Dashboard, click the Push all to production button to create a production package that pushes the content to our CDN buckets.
Including the Whatfix Deployment JavaScript
If you are using the JavaScript integration, access the production script using the steps below.
-
On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Settings.
-
Click Content Deployment.
-
In the Stages tab, add the visibility rules in the script you want.
-
Copy the Deployment Script.
If you have been a Whatfix customer from prior to Jan 2018, your account may not be using CDN deployment. Contact your respective Customer Success Manager to enable the CDN option for your account.
