Whatfix enables you to schedule your Task Lists and display them to your end users according to a set schedule. Using a Task List Scheduler, you can display your Task Lists at specific time periods, on certain days of the week, or set up custom schedules.
A Task List can be scheduled using the following options:
- Start date
- End date
- Time Zone
- Interval at which the Task List should reappear
Use the following steps to schedule a Task List segment:
-
On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Widgets.
-
Click Task lists.
-
Go to the required Task List segment, and then click the Edit icon.
You can schedule a Task List segment while creating a new Task List segment as well.
-
In the Set Rules section, Go to the Scheduler tab.
-
Use the Start On and End On fields to set the start date and end date.
-
In the Time Zone field, select the time zone you want the Start On and End On to follow.
If your end users are from different time zones then select the Use Local Time checkbox. This converts the Start On and End On settings based on the local time zone, and the Task List segment is shown accordingly.
