When a language is marked Out of Sync, it means that there is an updated version of the content in the primary language that has not been updated in the Translation page.
Consider the following scenarios to understand when the Out of Sync badge appears for content:
On creation of new content
If you create new content that is yet to be translated, they appear with a Translation required badge. This status remains unchanged for content without translations.
On existing content
When you make changes to content, but the translations for that content have not been updated, then the translations become out of sync and appear with an Out of sync badge in the Translations page. This status automatically applies when the original content is modified.
The Translations page displays the number of content that is out of sync for each language:
To view the list of outdated translations, click the Out of sync badge for a language, select a file format, and then click Download.
