Prev Next

Introduction

With Flow Analytics, find the engagement of your end users with the Flows in your application. The Dashboard contains various Insights, such as Flow played report, Most played Flows, and more, to help you understand end-user engagement with Flows.

The following functionalities are possible in the New Guidance Analytics Dashboard experience for Flow Analytics:

  • View end-user engagement data for Flows in easy-to-understand visual formats.

  • Understand the description of the metrics and the events that are used to calculate the metrics.

  • Add Filters such as city, country, and more to filter the data on the Dashboard.

  • Filter your data based on daily, weekly, monthly, or custom time frames.

  • Add Event Filters to drill down on the event. For example, find the number of users who played a Flow called Onboarding.

  • Add User Filters to filter the users who engaged with the content. For example, find the number of users who started Flows using the Chrome browser.

  • View top metrics, such as the date on which end users engage the most with the event or daily average of engagement, and percentage changes in end-user engagement.

  • Change the chart type of the Insight, wherever applicable.

  • Export the Dashboard.

Choose the segment name from event filters in Flows

    Info:

Some metrics may be calculated using more than one event. To view all the events that make up the metric, click the metric, and then click Event Type.

    Filter data using insight ID

  • All the changes you make to the Dashboard, such as adding User or Event filters, changing the time frame, chart type, and more, are not saved to the Dashboard. The Dashboard is reset to its default state next time you access it. However, Whatfix enables you to export the Dashboard with the filters added.

  • Some metrics display the percentage changes (increase or decrease) in the end-user engagement. However, if there is no change in the engagement or metric data, it shows as NA (Not applicable).

  • Some metrics display Total events while others display Unique users.new_guidance analytics_launcher

Total events: The number of times the event occurred.

Unique users: The number of unique users who triggered the event.

  • Sometimes, content or widgets in analytics have a Moved badge next to them, which indicates that the content or widget has been moved from a particular stage. For example, a Pop-up in the Production stage may have been moved to the Draft stage.

  • The Deleted badge indicates that the content or widget has been deleted from the Whatfix Guidance dashboard. popups_engaged_report_guidance_analytics copy

Note:

By default, only data from the Production stage is shown. If you want to get data from other stages, you need to configure them on your Whatfix Dashboard. For more information, see Get Analytics Data across CLM Stages. Once you’ve configured the stages in Settings, see How do I get analytics data across CLM stages in the New Guidance Analytics Dashboard experience? to know how to get the data across stages in the new experience.
