Generate Credentials for Freshservice Integration

You can integrate Freshservice with Whatfix to fetch articles from your Freshservice Repository and display them as contextual links in the Self Help widget. You can choose to either fetch all the content or only articles in particular folders.

To enable Freshservice integration, contact support@whatfix.com.

  • API token (Information on how to create one is shown in the following article)
  • Folder or category name that needs to be crawled.

  • The folder or category name is case-sensitive, so the exact names are required.
  • In case you don't provide the folder or category name wi our Whatfix representative, then all the content in the repository are crawled.

Creating an API token

Log in to your Freshservice Dashboard and use the following steps shown in the slideshow to create an API token:
