Let’s say that your team is heavily reliant on Salesforce for critical processes like quoting. Your biggest challenge might be sales representatives consistently overlooking crucial details and process steps during key quote stages. As a Manager, you frequently face the challenge of ensuring data accuracy and process adherence, especially within complex workflows. It's not merely about displaying guidance; it's about delivering the exact guidance you need, precisely when it's needed.
Use the Something seen on the application option Whatfix’s New Visibility Rules.
Here’s how you can implement this:
1. Select an element on which you want to display a Smart-tip.
Identify a CSS selector element on your Salesforce page that clearly displays the current workflow's "Stage" (e.g., a status tag or a field value).
2. Create specific Smart Tips designed to address the detailed reminders needed at each stage.
Here’s an example Visibility rule for the Draft stage Smart-Tip:
For each Smart Tip, set a Manually on application Visibility Rule. Similarly, configure the Smart Tip to appear only if the text content of your identified "Stage" element matches specific values like "Draft," "Submitted," or "Needs Action" respectively.
Note:
Once you have saved the widget, preview the changes, and then publish the widget to Production so that the latest behaviour reflects for your end users.
