Use cases on scheduling Surveys

Refer to the following use cases for scheduling surveys for your end users. Use the new Visibility Rules for displaying Surveys. For more information, see how to use the new Visibility Rules.

Display a Survey every time a user logs in

Use the following steps to schedule and display Surveys to users always when they log in

  1. Go to Set Visibility Rules.

  2. Click When does the survey start and stop appearing?

  3. Under What causes the survey to appear?, select Specific date range from the dropdown.

  4. Select a Timezone.

  5. Select a Start date and End date as well as Start time and End time to follow.

  6. Under Set repeat, choose Once daily from the dropdown for the Survey to appear every day.

  7. Click Save.

    Click Save to save the visibility rules

Display a Survey every time a user logs in, but only for a particular time frame

Use the following steps to display Surveys to users only within a specific time interval.

  1. Go to Set Visibility Rules.

  2. Click When does the survey start and stop appearing?

  3. Under What causes the survey to appear?, select Specific date range from the dropdown.

  4. Select a Timezone.

  5. Select a Start date and End date as well as Start time and End time to follow.

  6. Under Set interval, select a time frame for the Survey to appear.

  7. Click Save.

    Click Save for the survey visibility rules to be saved

Display a Survey only on particular days of a week

Use the following steps to display Surveys on specific days of the week.

  1. Go to Set Visibility Rules.

  2. Click When does the survey start and stop appearing?

  3. Under What causes the survey to appear?, select Specific date range from the dropdown.

  4. Select a Timezone.

  5. Select a Start date and End date as well as Start time and End time to follow.

  6. Under Set repeat, select Certain days of a week from the dropdown for the Survey to appear only on specific days of the month.

  7. Click Save.

    You can also choose to display the Surveys on a weekly basis by selecting other options from the dropdown such as Every weekday, Once a month, and more. For more information see Show content based on a specific date.

Display a Survey only once a week

Use the following steps to display Surveys weekly once to your users.

  1. Go to Set Visibility Rules.

  3. Under What causes the survey to appear?, select Specific date range from the dropdown.

  4. Select a Timezone.

  5. Select a Start date and End date as well as Start time and End time to follow.

  6. Under Set repeat, select Once a week.

  7. Click Save.

Display a Survey only once a month

Use the following steps to display Surveys monthly once to your users.

  1. Go to Set Visibility Rules.

  3. Under What causes the survey to appear?, select Specific date range from the dropdown.

  4. Select a Timezone.

  5. Select a Start date and End date as well as Start time and End time to follow.

  6. Under Set repeat, select Once a month.
