Plan your user feedback collection by scheduling surveys based on the following criteria:
- Start date
- End date
- Time zone
- Number of occurrences over a period of time
Use the following steps to schedule a Survey:
-
On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Widgets.

-
Click Surveys.

-
Hover your cursor over the required Survey, and then click the Edit icon.

You have the option to Schedule a Survey while creating a new Survey.
-
Click Set Visibility Rules.

-
Click the When does the survey start appearing? tab.

-
Under the dropdown Specific date range, select the Start date and End date fields to set the start date and the end date of your survey.

-
Select the Start time and End time to decide the duration of your survey.

- The Survey appears only during the specified time duration on the selected dates. For example, if you set the start time at 08:00 and the end time at 21:00, then for the selected dates, the Survey would appear between 08:00 and 21:00 every day until the end date.
- When your end users click the Skip button, it does not count as an interaction and the Survey is displayed regardless of the set occurrences.
- If you set an occurrence for a Survey and your end user views it, the limit of occurrences is exhausted and the Survey does not display. To make the Survey appear again, increase the occurrence limit.
- In the Timezone field, select the time zone you want the Start date and End date settings to follow.

This converts the Start date and End date settings based on your local time zone, and the Survey is shown accordingly. If your end users are from different time zones, then click the User's local time checkbox.
- Under the Set repeat section, select the frequency of the Survey for your end users.

For more information, see Show content based on a specific date.
- Click Save.
