Verifying Test cases enables you to check whether your Test cases execute successfully or not. Whatfix gives you a Studio view of the Test cases while verifying them, enabling you to check the verification status of each step in Studio, pause the verification process if you want to add an input step, edit the Test case, and continue verification from the point at which it was paused.
The step failure notifications that appear in Studio during the verification process enables you to edit the Test case or add an input step based on the reason for failure and then resume verification.
Use the following steps to verify a Test case:

On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Auto testing.

Click Test cases.
Hover your cursor over the Test case you want to verify, and then click Verify.
On the confirmation pop-up, click Proceed.
Note:
You can select Don't show this message again to stop seeing the confirmation pop-up every time you verify a Test case.

Whatfix opens the Test case in a new tab with Studio view.
On Whatfix Studio, click Start verify.

View the step-by-step verification of the Test case.
Note:
You get a notification of failure in Studio if a step fails during verification.
You can choose to edit the Test case or add an input step based on the reason for failure and then resume verification.
Note:
Even if there is no step failure and you want to edit the Test case, or add an input step to the Test case when verification is in process, you can click Pause and make the desired changes.
Once the desired changes are made, click Resume.
Once all the steps pass verification, click Save Test case.
Click Okay.

View the verification status of the Test case under Status on the Dashboard.
