What is On-Premise Deployment?

With on-premise deployment, all operations are managed on private servers, meaning content is stored and accessed within your organization’s infrastructure. Whatfix generates a separate Whatfix Studio extension to facilitate content creation and management. This extension functions independently from the Whatfix cloud, ensuring no direct connection between the two.

Mirror On-Premise Deployment

When deployed on-premise, Whatfix Mirror runs entirely within your organization’s infrastructure. All actions, including content creation, simulation training, and data management, occur on your private servers, ensuring that no Mirror data leaves your environment.

Whatfix provides the necessary tools to manage Mirror independently from the Whatfix cloud. This setup enables your organization to maintain complete control over data, security, and compliance.

Note:

The Mirror Dashboard, Playground, and Assessment mode are currently unavailable in on-premise deployments.
