Stage mismatch error

Issue

If you move the Guidance on Mirror content, such as Flows, from the Ready stage to the Production stage while the Mirror Workflow remains in the Ready stage, you might see the following error:

Probable Causes

• When the Mirror is moved between stages such as from Ready to Production, the shareable link of the Mirror ID changes leading to a mismatch.

• When the Mirror URL used in place of the Source URL does not match the correct stage URL of the Mirror Screen, a stage mismatch occurs.

• When you try to preview or launch live edit Guidance on Mirror content, a stage mismatch occurs. The Source URL used is incorrect.

Suggested Solution

• When you try to view Flows on the Guidance Dashboard, ensure the Source URL is the same as the sharable link of the Workflow on the Mirror Dashboard.

When you move a Workflow or Simulation between dashboard stages, ensure that the related flow is updated with the relevant Mirror link.

Use the following steps to ensure the Mirror URL and Guidance on the Mirror on your Guidance Dashboard match the stage they are in:

1. On the Mirror Dashboard, go to the Ready stage.
   
   

2. Hover your cursor over the Workflow, and then click Share.
   
   

3. Click Copy.
   

4. On the Guidance Dashboard, go to the Ready stage.
   
   

5. Hover your cursor over the Guidance on Mirror, and then click the Edit icon.
   
   

6. Paste the Mirror share link in the URL field.
   
   

7. Click Save.

   

Note:

To preview the Guidance on the Mirror screen in the draft stage, copy the URL path from the Mirror Dashboard and paste it in the URL field.

Use the following steps to ensure the Mirror URL and Guidance on the Mirror on your Guidance Dashboard match the stage they are in:

1. On the Mirror Dashboard, go to the Draft stage.
   
   

2. Copy the URL path of the Mirror.
   
   

3. On the Guidance Dashboard, go to the Draft stage.
   
   

4. Hover your cursor over the Guidance on Mirror Flow, and then click the Edit icon.
   
   

5. Paste the Mirror share link in the URL field.

   
   

6. Click Save.
