What's new?

We now have a new mobile SDK architecture that splits our SDK into two parts: the static native part and the dynamic JavaScript (JS) part. The new mobile SDK architecture enables Whatfix to update the JavaScript part, which in turn helps us update specific features in the app more easily without requiring a new app version release.

Why does it matter to me?

Self Hosting is useful when you are on an internal network and cannot access the in-app experience from the Whatfix cloud or when your IT security doesn't enable resource loading from external servers. 

With the new ability to update the SDK remotely, maintain current security settings while bringing the latest Whatfix features to the app without releasing a new version.
