The Whatfix Web solution is for web-based applications, one that is hosted on the web and accessed from a browser on the desktop or mobile devices. Whatfix Content created using Web can be optimized to run on the mobile version of the web application. Whereas, Whatfix Mobile is for native mobile apps designed and built for a specific platform (Android or iOS) and hybrid apps. Native apps are typically installed through an application store (such as Google Play or iOS App Store).

Based on the access to the source code of the mobile app, you can choose the following solutions provided by Whatfix.

• Whatfix Mobile SDK: When you have access to the source code of your mobile app, you can integrate the Whatfix Mobile SDK in your app and create in-app experiences for your end users. Example: You can integrate Whatfix on custom apps created for internal users/customers using the SDK.
• Wrapper approach: When you don't have access to the source code of your mobile app and want to use your web application in the mobile web view and integrate Whatfix, you can use the Wrapper Approach. Example: You can integrate Whatfix on EAS applications like Salesforce, Workday, etc. using the Wrapper Approach.
