Add a Video to a Smart Tip

Whatfix enables you to link videos to Smart Tips to engage users with a visual message.

Use the following steps to embed a video to an existing Smart Tip:

1. On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Content.
   

2. Click Smart-tips.
   

3. Hover your cursor over the required Smart Tip collection, and then click the Edit icon.
   

4. Go to the individual Tip that you want to edit, and then click Edit.
   

5. Go to Describe the Smart Tip action, and click Quick Insert.
   

6. Click Insert Video on the video icon.
   

7. Click the URL icon and then enter the URL of the video in the textbox.
   

8. Click Insert.
   

9. Click Save Tip.
   

10. Click Save.
    

Note:

• Whatfix enables you to add videos on Smart-tips also through Studio while creating the content.

• Whatfix enables you to add videos to your content by entering either the URL or the Embedded code or Browse option. The Browse option refers to the videos hosted on Whatfix Dashboard.

• If you want the video to autoplay for your end users, click Autoplay while inserting the video.
