Remove a Beacon Segment from Production

Whatfix enables you to stop showing Beacons that are no longer relevant for your end users by moving them from the Production Stage to the Draft Stage.

Note
  • Moving the Beacon segment does not delete the content.
  • Once moved, the Beacon gets removed from your application.
  • You can move the segment back to production if you want your end users to see the Beacon again.

Use the following steps to move a Beacon segment:

  1. On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Widgets.
    ia_left_nav_widgets

  2. Click Beacons.
    ia_widget_beacons

  1. Select the Beacon collection that you want to disable using the checkbox.
    clm_beacons_select beacons

  2. Click Remove from production.
    CCM_DB_remove from prod
