Edit a Launcher

Whatfix enables you to edit Launchers inside a collection both during creation and after creation.

Make the following changes to a Launcher inside a collection:

Update the Launcher text
Change its actions
Change its position
Change its style
Delete a Launcher from the collection

During Launcher creation

Use the following steps to edit a Launcher inside a collection during Launcher creation:

On Whatfix Studio, click the Launcher you want to edit.

Once you click the Launcher, you can make any adjustments of your choice. For more information, see how to customize a Launcher.

Click Save Launcher.
Click Save to save the final changes.

After the Launcher creation: Using Whatfix Guidance Dashboard

Use the following steps to edit a Launcher inside a collection on the Dashboard:

On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Content.
Click Launchers.

Go to any Launcher and then click the Edit icon on the Dashboard

Note:

Once the edit mode opens, you can make certain adjustments to the Launcher. However, you cannot change the tooltip position and re-select the element in this edit mode.

After the Launcher creation: Using Launch live edit

Use the following steps to edit a Launcher inside a collection post Launcher creation with the help of Launch live edit:

On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Content.
Click Launchers.

Hover your cursor over the Launcher collection you want to edit, and then click the Edit icon.
Click Launch live edit on the Dashboard.
Once Whatfix Studio launches on the application, click the Launcher you want to edit.
Click Reselect Element or make any changes that you require in the Launch live edit stage.
Click Save Launcher.
Click Save to save the final changes.
