Edit a Survey

Whatfix enables you to edit Surveys post-creation in case you want to edit or remove any question or change other Survey customizations.

Edit a Survey only in the Draft and Ready stages.

Use the following steps to edit a Survey:

  1. On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Widgets.
    ia_left_nav_widgets

  2. Click Surveys.
    ia_left_nav_surveys

  3. Hover your cursor over the required Survey, and then click the Edit icon.
    ia_edit_survey

  1. Make the necessary changes.
    Make the following changes to a Survey:
    • Change the Title and Subtitle of the Survey
    • Change the Background color and Text color of the Survey
    • Edit the Questions
    • Edit the Survey branching conditions
    • Edit the End Message
    • Change the Background and Text color of the Close button
    • Change the Settings

  • If you rearrange a question with a condition, all conditions are deleted.

Preview your survey using the Preview icon.

  1. Click Save.
