Whatfix enables content creators to group content and widgets inside folders for better management. Group content or widgets that you want to display to users belonging to the same geography, having the same user roles, and more.

- Create folders in all three stages of the dashboard, which are Draft, Ready, and Production.
- Create up to 3 levels of sub-folders inside a folder.
- The folders are only for content creators to manage content and won't be visible to end users.
How to create folders on the Dashboard
Use the following steps to create a folder on the dashboard:

On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Create folder.

On the pop-up, enter the name of the folder.

- There can be more than one folder with the same name.
- Specify the location of the folder. The folder can either be placed in the All Content or All widgets sections of the dashboard or inside another folder.
- By default, if you create a folder in the Content section, the folder appears in All Content. Similarly, if you create a folder in the Widgets section, the folder appears in All widgets.
- Any folder that you create appears across all three stages.

Click Create.

Once the folder is created, to add content to the folder, select the content units that you want to add to the folder using the checkboxes.

You cannot add the same content to multiple folders.

Click Move to folder.

Select the folder you want to add the content to, and then click Move here.
