Overview
In Hub, end users can use notification counts to see how many tasks require their attention. Notification counts helps end users stay aware of pending actions and improve task completion rates.
Note:
Hub is a Beta feature. To enable this feature for your account, contact support@whatfix.com.
These notification counts are:
The total count of all To Do (pending) tasks
Visible on every page where Hub is available on page load
Instantly updated when tasks are completed

Where Notification Counts Appear
Floating Action Button (FAB) Closed State
A notification count appears on the closed FAB when the user has one or more pending tasks.
This enables users to identify pending tasks without interacting with Hub.
FAB Notification Open State
When users hover on the FAB to view its open state, the Task List icon displays a notification count indicating the total number of pending tasks.
This ensures users can see pending tasks when choosing between Explorer, Task List, Feedback, and Chatbot tabs.

Hub displays up to 3 icons in the FAB open state in the following priority next to the Pin or FAB Text:
Explorer > Task List > Feedback > Chatbot

When users open the unified Hub panel, the Task List tab also displays a notification count showing the number of pending tasks. Users see the same number on the To Do status filter.
This helps users view pending tasks while accessing the Task List tab.

On the FAB (closed and open states) and unified panel, Task List notifications count updates instantly when tasks are completed.
How Notification Counts Work
Notification counts are based on the number of tasks in the To Do status. The following actions influence the number displayed:
When a task is completed:
The task moves to Completed
The FAB and Task List tab counts update instantly
When a new task becomes available in the same segment:
New tasks appears only when users reload the page
All and To Do counts increase
Group counts also update automatically
