Q1R2 2026 Release
Last updated: April 29, 2026

The following are the updates for DAP on Desktop:

  • Enhancement: Automated Video Uploads to BrightcoveGA

  • Enhancement: Screen Re-capture in Free-floating Flow stepsBeta

Enhancement: Automated Video Uploads to BrightcoveGA

What’s changed?

Whatfix now seamlessly integrates with Brightcove, enabling organizations to automatically upload Flow videos directly to their Brightcove library whenever content is published. It’s a simple one-time setup where videos are synced automatically without any manual exporting or re-uploading.

Why does it matter to me?

This enhancement provides large enterprises, particularly in regulated industries such as BFSI, with a secure, enterprise-grade hosting alternative, ensuring all Whatfix video content resides safely within their existing video infrastructure.

Users can now use Brightcove as a video hosting platform for Flow videos

How do I do this?

The integration is available for everyone without any additional configuration. For more information, see Authorize video channels to upload Whatfix Flows as videos.

Enhancement: Screen Re-capture in Free-floating Flow stepsBeta

What’s changed?

Whatfix Studio now enables you to quickly re-capture the screen for an existing Free-floating Flow step using the Update button. This is particularly useful when the underlying UI changes or when switching steps on the same page. Rather than deleting and re-creating the step from scratch, you can simply update the visual capture.

Re-capture Free-floating Flow steps in the same step without re-creating the steps

Why does it matter to me?

This enhancement saves significant time during content maintenance and ensures your Flow steps remain perfectly contextualized to the application.

How do I do this?

The screen re-capture in Free-floating Flow steps is currently Beta. For more information, see Create Free-floating Flow steps.
