What is an Alternate Flow?
An Alternate Flow is an in-context step-by-step guide inside a desktop application. When your end users access an Alternate Flow from the Self Help section, a card appears on their desktop. The card includes steps that guide your end users to complete a task without any friction or hassle.
Alternate Flow creation is used for guidance during the following scenarios:
- Feasibility issues when creating DAP content
- Constant failure with element detection and selection
Components of the Card
- Screenshot: Conveys which element on the application to select.
- Step Details: Includes action text and any additional information about the step
- Step Count: Indicates the number steps in the Flow
- Action Button: Helps in progression of steps.
