Article summary

Sometimes, the Self Help widget might cover some parts of the application that need to be visible and accessible to your users. To overcome this issue, Whatfix enables you to reposition the Self Help widget to a more convenient position.

Note:
  • Your end users can also change the position of the widget and Whatfix remembers the new position on the next visit.
  • When end users reposition the Self Help widget, other Self Help widgets on other pages or applications also move to this new position.
  • The Self Help widgets on other pages and applications can be seen in the new position set only in the following two scenarios:
    a. If the end user has the same user role.
    b. If the Self Help widget is present on the same app page.

Use the following steps to reposition the Self Help widget:

  1. On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Style.

  2. Drag and drop the widget to any of the 12 available positions.
