Issue
You are trying to install the Whatfix Desktop Editor or Player using the default path (C: drive) but are unable to do so.
Probable Causes
- Your Organization may adhere to their own organizational policies and very often for security reasons, all third-party application installations are performed by your IT teams.
- Your organization may restrict your access to the primary drive (C: Drive) in which they install organizational wide applications. Whatfix by default installs the Editor and Player in the primary drive. However, you may not have the permission to make changes because of IT restrictions.
Suggested Solutions
- Contact your IT admin and request to install it for you. You can ask your IT team to install the Whatfix Editor or Player in your preferred path as well. For example, installing the Whatfix Editor or Player in (D: Drive).
- Contact support@whatfix.com to install the Whatfix Editor or Player.
