How can I check if the latest version of Whatfix is installed?

It is recommended to have the latest version of Whatfix installed to get access to new features and fixes.

To check if you have the latest version installed,

  1. Open the File Manager.
  2. Go to the location where Whatfix is installed and open it.
  3. Right-click the WhatfixDesktop.exe file and make a note of the Digital signature date.
  4. Then, go to C:\Program Files\Whatfix and right-click on the WhatfixCheckRunningProcess.exe.
  5. Go to Details sections and take a screenshot of the section.
  6. Email the Digital signature date from Step 3 and the screenshot from Step 4 to support@whatfix.com and we'll confirm whether you're using the latest version.
