How can I manage the version of Whatfix Player installed by my organization?

You can check the version of your Whatfix Desktop Player installed by your organization using your Whatfix Desktop Dashboard. The Dashboard also enables you to check the latest available version of the Player, and update the Player if required.

Use the following steps to manage the version of your organization's Player application from the Dashboard:

2. Select Manage Desktop Version.
   

3. Under Desktop Features, click Player.
   

4. Check the Current version of your organization's Player app, and the Latest available version.
   

   Note

   • Current version is the version of Whatfix Player presently available for all the end users of your organization.

   • Latest available version is the latest version of Whatfix Player available in Whatfix.

5. If your organization doesn't have the latest version of Player installed, click Update Player.
   

   Note

   For the update to reflect in your end users' desktops, you must do a Push to Production.
