Check the latest version of your Whatfix Desktop Player using the Dashboard or from your Desktop:
Using the Dashboard
Use the following steps to check the version of your Whatfix Desktop Player from the Dashboard:
- On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Settings.
Select Manage Desktop Version.
Under Desktop Features, click Player.
Check your Whatfix Player application's Current version and the Latest available version.
Note:
If you don't have the latest version of Player installed, you must perform push to production.
Using your Desktop
Use the following steps to check the version of your Whatfix Desktop Player from your desktop:
Type %localappdata% in the File Explorer and hit the Enter key.
Go to the Whatfix Player folder.
Go to the README file.
Open the README file to check the version of Whatfix Desktop Player.
Note:
In case your version of the Whatfix Player does not match with the latest available version, you can update it from the Dashboard itself.
