Reselect elements to manage UI changes

Whatfix enables you to manage changes in your UI so you don't have to recreate the respective Flow every time your application undergoes a change. If your Flow is broken because one of your steps in the Flow has changed, you can quickly make it work again using the information.

Use the following steps to reselect an element:

You need to first launch the application (Eg. Microsoft Teams) where you want to reselect the element, and then use the following steps.

  1. Navigate to the Whatfix Desktop Dashboard.

  3. Click Launch live edit.

  4. Click Open WFEditorLauncher on the pop-up that appears

  5. On the Whatfix Desktop Editor toolbar, click Maximize.

  6. Navigate to the step that you want to update, and then click Edit.

  7. Click Reselect Element.

  8. Select the element on your application.

  9. Click Save Step.
