Use contrasting colors to make the Tooltip noticeable on your desktop application. This ensures that the Tooltips do not blend into your interface.
For more information on contrast checking, see this contrast checker website that could help you decide.
Use simple words and sentences when creating Whatfix content. Keep the description in the Tooltip brief and direct.
Ensure that images inserted in the content do not exceed the width of the Tooltip or Pop-up to avoid distorted images. Exceeding 270 pixels introduces a scroll bar.
Ensure that Flows use easy-to-understand and brief descriptions of the user’s next action.
Position Tooltips so that they do not hide any elements on the page. In certain cases, the Tooltip may inadvertently obscure important UI, leading to poor user adoption.
Select the best available Tooltip theme to ensure the Tooltip UI matches the desktop application’s UI.
For more information, see Change the design of the Tooltip.
Add an end message to all Whatfix content to ensure users are well informed about the next course of action.
For more information on adding an end message, see Customize the end message of a Flow.
