Article Summary

Whatfix enables you to customize the message that your end users see after completing a Flow. You can choose to add a personalized message, request for Flow Feedback, or both.

For instance, you can customize the end message when you want to provide the end users with additional information or actions they can perform after Flow completion.

You can request for Flow Feedback when you want to analyze how helpful the Flow was for your end users, and can then make improvements as is necessary. End users can submit the feedback and still be able to perform the action on the end message.

If you choose not to customize the end message, a generic message appears after the Flow completion.

Request for Flow feedback

Flow feedback, when enabled, captures user feedback for every Flow in your application. Whatfix uses an in-house Analytics platform to capture this information into your account. This feature highlights how helpful a Flow is by collecting user comments in a text format.

Info

Once you enable the Flow Feedback, the Feedback option is displayed on all the Flows.

Flow Feedback has the following three scenarios:

Option Description
Yes This implies the Flow was helpful to the user and the user is presented with four pre-defined comments to choose from and a text box to add their comments about the Flow to specify why the Flow was useful. This information is stored in GA.
No On selecting "No" the user is presented with four pre-defined comments to specify why the Flow was not helpful and a text box to add their comments about the Flow. These comments are captured in GA.
CLOSE ('X' icon) The Flow is closed without any feedback. This is captured in GA as well. If the user closes the Pop-up without making a Yes or No selection, "OPT-OUT" feedback is given for that Flow.

Enable or Disable feedback

Use the following steps to enable or disable feedback:

  1. On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Style.
