Unable to install newer version of the Whatfix Desktop Editor or Player

Issue

You are trying to install the latest version of the Whatfix Desktop Editor or Player but are unable to do so.

Cause:

The older versions of the Whatfix Desktop Editor or Player are overwritten when newer versions are installed. But in some cases if the previous version is too old, then there may be issues with installing the newer version of the Editor or Player.

Solution:

You can manually uninstall the older versions of the Editor or Player and then try re-installing the newer versions.
