Uninstall Whatfix Studio

Sometimes, you might need to uninstall the Whatfix Studio to install the latest version of the Studio, or reinstall it in case of any issues.

Whatfix Studio can be uninstalled in two ways:

  1. From Add or Remove Programs in Windows' system settings
  2. Using the Whatfix Studio Installer

Uninstall Whatfix Studio from Add or Remove Programs

This method can only be used with the MSI version of Studio.

Use the following steps to uninstall the Whatfix Desktop Studio:

  1. Go to Apps & features in Windows' system settings.

  2. Search for Whatfix Studio and then click the Whatfix Studio card.

  3. Click Uninstall.

  4. In the confirmation popover, click Uninstall.

Uninstall Whatfix Studio using the Installer

Prerequisites

Ensure that you have the installer file you used to install the Whatfix Studio. For more information, see Install Whatfix Desktop Studio.

  1. Open the downloaded Whatfix Studio Installer.

  2. Based on the installer type, expand and follow the steps inside the accordion:

    MSI Installer

    1. Click Next.

    3. Click Remove.

    4. After Studio is uninstalled, click Finish.

    EXE Installer

    1. Click Un-Install.
      Uninstall

    2. Click OK in the confirmation popover.
