Issue

You are unable to log in to your Whatfix account and you see a message that your account is locked. You may also not receive the password reset email, or the reset link might expire.

Possible Causes

  • Too many failed login attempts: Entering incorrect credentials multiple times triggers a security lock.

  • Password reset is not completed: Your account stays locked if the reset link isn’t used on time.

  • Expired or invalid link: Older reset links no longer work.

  • Email delivery issues: The reset email is delivered to the spam folder or a different email address.

Suggested Solutions

  • Wait and retry: Some accounts unlock automatically after a few minutes.

  • Reset your password: Click Forgot Password, enter your registered email, and use the latest reset link.

  • Check your email: Look into the spam folder or confirm that your registered email is correct.

  • Request a new reset link: If the old link expired, generate a new link from the login page.
