Add Icon Button disabled for custom icons

Issue

The + Add Icon button appears disabled or greyed out, preventing you from adding custom icons to Smart Tips, Beacons, or Launchers.

Probable Causes

• No icons are added to the Icon Library.

  If there are no icons added to the Icon Library in your account, the Add Icon button remains disabled. For more information on the Icon Library, see Use custom icons in Whatfix Contents and Widgets.

• Icon addition reaches the limit.

  Whatfix enables you to add up to 5 custom icons to the Icon section for each widget (Smart Tips, Beacons, and Launchers). Once this limit is reached, the Add Icon button appears greyed out or disabled.

Suggested Solutions

• If no icons are uploaded to the Icon Library, go to the Icon Library, and then upload icons. For more information, see Use custom icons in Whatfix Contents and Widgets.

  Once icons are uploaded to the Icon Library, the + Add Icon button becomes clickable, enabling you to add icons to Smart Tips, Beacons, and Launchers.

• To add new icons, you must first remove one of the existing icons from the Icon section. To remove an existing icon, hover your cursor over the icon and click the Remove icon. The + Add Icon button becomes clickable.
