The following are the updates for DAP on Web:
AI-Powered Software Release Notes
What is new?
Whatfix now provides AI-generated release notes for Whatfix Software Updates. The release notes provide a structured summary of Major Releases, Enhancements, and Bug Fixes for the software version.

Why does it matter to me?
Previously, Whatfix published release notes only for major quarterly releases. You can now view detailed release notes for maintenance releases, with information about enhancements and bug fixes.
With this capability, you can:
Stay informed about new capabilities, enhancements and bug fixes.
Identify relevant changes and proactively test them in your Testing environment before updating Production.
How do I do this?
AI-Powered Software Release Notes is a Beta feature. Use the Sign up for Beta button to get started. For more information, see Whatfix Software Updates.
Software Version based Preview
What is new?
Whatfix Studio now enables you to select a software version when enabling Preview Mode. By default, Preview Mode uses the Production software version.
Why does it matter to me?
When your Testing environment is updated, you have a 15-day testing period before updating the Production environment. During this period, newly created content is tested against the latest software version, but authors cannot preview it against the active Production software version before publishing. This could cause content that works with the latest version to behave differently when published to a Production environment running an older software version.
With software version-based preview, you can:
Select from the available Testing and Production software versions to preview content.
Identify potential content issues before publishing.
How do I do this?
Software Version based Preview in Whatfix Studio is a Beta feature. Use the Sign up for Beta button to get started. For more information, see Whatfix Player Extension.
Advanced Customisation Code (AC) Testing in Player Extension
What is new?
The Player Extension now enables you to test Advanced Customisation (AC) Code changes in the Testing environment without publishing the changes to the Production environment.
Why does it matter to me?
The Player Extension consolidates the capabilities of the Preview and Production Extensions into a single extension. Previously, AC Code changes could not be tested in the Player Extension without publishing them to Production. This increased the risk of an AC Code change affecting the live user experience.
With this capability, you can:
Test AC Code changes in the Testing environment before applying them to Production.
Validate changes without affecting the Production AC Code.
How do I do this?
This capability is available for everyone without any additional configuration. For more information, see Whatfix Player Extension.
