Whatfix enables you to customize how your end users see Flows and Links when they interact with such content in Self Help.
Interaction can only be configured for Flows and Links.
Use the following steps to configure the Interaction,
-
On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Style.
-
Click Self Help.
-
Click Interaction.
-
In the Execute Links section, you can make the following configurations,
- On same page- Displays the link in a pop-up on the application page.
-
You can configure how the link pop-up appears for your end user using the following options,
- Where Self Help is positioned - The pop-up opens where the Self Help widget is placed on your application.
- Right Align - The pop-up opens on the right side of your application.
- Left Align - The pop-up opens on the left side of your application.
- Center Align - The pop-up opens at the center of your application.
-
You can also change the size of the link pop-up using the dropdown.
- On new page- opens the link on a new tab.
For Mac machines, if the browser is in the full screen/maximized mode, then the link opens in a new tab instead of a pop-up. To avoid this, you can exit from full screen to minimized mode for the link to open in a pop-up.
- In the Execute Flows section, you can make the following configurations,
- On Same Page - runs the Flow on the same application page
- On New Page - opens the application on a new tab and runs the Flow
- As Pop-up - displays the Flow information pop-up and runs the Flow when the user clicks Guide Me
- As Slideshow - displays the Flow in a slideshow format
- Click Save.
