Rename the Self Help widget

Whatfix enables you to customize the text displayed on the Self Help widget, helping you personalize the user experience.

Rename the Old Self Help

End-user experience:
Here's how the end-user experience looks after updating the Self Help name:

Use the following steps to rename your Old Self Help widget:

  1. On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Style.

  2. Click Self Help.

  1. In the Appearance section, click Widget Icon.

  2. In the Text field, change the name of the Self Help.

  3. Click Save.

Note:

Once you save the changes, you must push the changes made to Production so that the latest behavior reflects for end users.

Rename the Improved Self Help

Here's how the end-user experience looks after updating the Self Help name:

Use the following steps to rename your Improved Self Help widget:

  1. On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Style.

  2. Click Self Help.

  1. In the Customisations section, click FAB.

  2. In the Icon Text section, change the name of the Improved Self Help widget. The text appears on hover over the FAB icon.

  3. Click Save.

Note:

Once you save the changes, you must push the changes made to Production so that the latest behavior reflects for end users.
