Whatfix enables you to export Whatfix content if you are in a self-hosted mode and use JavaScript mode of delivery.
On the Whatfix Guidance Dashboard, you can choose to export the production deployment package with or without the multi-format content.
Use the following steps to export the production package:
Only an Account Manager can perform the following task. For more information about available roles, see Whatfix User Roles.
- On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, go to the Ready stage.

Ensure all the content and widgets you want to go live are moved from the Draft stage to the Ready stage.
In the Draft stage, select the content you want to move, and then click Send to ready.

In the Ready stage, click Publish all.

In the Publish changes dialog box, review and select the content you want to export, and then click Publish.

Whatfix sends a confirmation email to notify you when content and widgets are pushed to Production.
- After the content is published, go to the Production stage, and then click Published package.

The Published package option is visible only to users with Self Hosted deployment method. To enable Self Hosted deployment, contact support@whatfix.com.
- In the Choose Export preference dialog box, click Data+Script or Data Only, depending on your preference.

Data Only: Enables you to export only the Whatfix content and widgets. You can choose to export only the Data, when you've updated only one or two content units that do not impact the Whatfix Embed Script or Advanced Customization (AC) scripts.
Data+Script: This option enables you to export Whatfix content and widgets along with the Whatfix Embed Script, Advanced customization (AC) scripts, and more. You can choose to export both Data and Script, when there is a product release with new features that impact the Embed Script or you've made changes to the AC code in your account.
- Click Export.

To export the multi-format content, select the Include multi-format content checkbox.

An email with a link to download the content is sent to your registered email ID.
- Download the zip file.

After you download the package, replace the source URL of all the Slideshows and Articles with the server path where the whatfix.com folder is hosted.
- Extract the content of the zip file to your server.
